The "Volumes" chapter for my Learn Kubernetes book was just published: It explains short-lived and long-lived storage with Volumes, PersistentVolumes and PersistentVolumeClaims. I tried to make it easy to understand, since that point is often seen as complex by the students I teach to. The book is nearing completion with 69% written. It's time to buy it at 69% of its final price , then get the full version at no extra cost once finished (January 31st).
