Silverlight pour Windows Phone et iPhone

LogoSilverlight Difficile de prévoir l’avenir, mais voici mes suppositions basées sur ce que j’ai pu lire de communiques publics de Microsoft.

A mon avis, Silverlight pour Windows Mobile sera annoncé le 15 mars 2010 (voir mon article précédent sur le sujet). Par contre, je pense que Silverlight ne sera pris en charge que sur Windows Phone 7.

Mon petit doigt me dit aussi que Silverlight sera pris en charge sur l’iPhone. Je sais, cette supposition est assez osée. Apple a rejeté Flash, donc pourquoi accepteraient-ils Silverlight? Mais quand même: si Microsoft annonce la prise en charge de Silverlight sur Windows Phone mais pas sur iPhone, autant ne rien annoncer du tout. Alors j’y crois.

Rendez-vous dans un mois pour savoir si j’ai faux.

Le problème sur l'iPhone est qu'Apple ne veut absolument pas d'un runtime qui puisse faire tourner des applis. Pas de Flash, donc, évidemment, mais pas non plus de langages de script. L'AppStore avait même rejeté un émulateur C64 qui permettait de lancer des programmes externes.
A moins que seule l'option Out Of Browser ne soit activée, je vois mal Apple permettre l'exécution d'applis qui ne soient pas passées par les fourches caudines de l'AppStore.

Maintenant, je peux me tromper, tout peut arriver et il est même question que Bing devienne le moteur de recherche par défaut sur l'iPhone.

@Yann Schwartz: tout cela est très bien vu. Et pourtant, j'aime croire que Silverlight sera pris en charge par l'iPhone. Microsoft et Apple deviennent copains ces temps-cis, et surtout, Microsoft a fait tellement de buzz autour de son annonce reliant "Silverlight et mobile" le 15 mars, que s'ils annoncent seulement la prise en charge de Windows Mobile ça sera le flop. Mais si l'on suit la raison, tu as raison...
